east down the Thruway we pass through the Montezuma Refuge on a regular basis.  It's kid of a mysterious place to me.  I've never actually been inside this vast area, it just pops up during the boring ride towards Syracuse.  Not far from this spot is where some adorable puppies were taken from their owner. Look at the pups pictured here.  If you know who may have been part of this, read the story from our pals at WHEC.com and help find the thief.

The eight-week-old puppies were found Wednesday night and were returned to their owner. All of the puppies are safe and healthy.

Investigators say an unknown person entered an unlocked shed on NYS Rt. 90 in Montezuma and stole the puppies. According to the owner, they are worth $4,900.
