Hard to believe the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" have been flying around theatres for almost 25 years now.  They're as popular as ever.

The 5th installment in the Turtles movie history landed at number 1 at the box office over the weekend.  "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" reeled in $65 million, beating "Guardians of the Galaxy", which fell to number 2 for Bradley Cooper's "Rocket Raccoon" and Vin Diesel's "Groot".

Unbelievable fact about the Turtles: every one of the 5 movies has opened at the top spot at the box office.  That's a strong stat and says a lot about their staying power. A good flick to take your kids to as summer winds down and back to school season gears up.
