Over 41 million Americans are expected to travel at least 50 miles this holiday weekend.  This man should not be one of them, at least not behind the wheel!

Richard Zimmerman from Rochester was stopped in Livonia the other night for driving 77 mph in a 55 zone.  That's speeding in any county.  But in Livingston Co., my sharp eyed friends discovered Mr. Zimmerman was driving this fast without a license.

In fact, after further investigation, it was discovered that our speed demon's license had been suspended or revoked 31 times.  Call me crazy during a holiday picnic, but that's seems to be a bit excessive for a 23-year-old, doesn't it?

Now "Speedy Gonzalez" faces felony charges for not paying up on prior tickets or showing up in court.  He was released (hope he didn't drive home) and will appear in court at a later date.

If Mr. Zimmerman is heading out to watch the fireworks, hope he has a driver. Or can hitchhike like I did in college.
