LA!  Los Angeles would not be a bad place to be this weekend, right?  While we are surrounded by the beautiful snow, all the stars from the music world will be on scene in Tinsletown Sun. night for the awarding of the Grammys on CBS at 8p.  Keep an eye for they way they dress. CBS executives issued a controversial memo on Wed. with "requests" and instructions (some say orders) on how to properly dress for the broadcast.  They basically asked the performers and stars to dress down and show less cleavage than past.  I guess CBS is still a bit sensitive after what happened during Janet Jackson's haltime "wardrobe malfunction" years ago at the Super Bowl.  But the music world does not take kindly to being told what to do, yet alone how to dress.  It should create an interesting situation.  Rockers and rappers love to rebel!

Also keep an eye for some cool performances on the 3 hour braodcast, which recently has been more about the music than the actual awarding of trophies.  Nothing wrong with that.  Some of the notable perfomers include Alicia Keys, The Black Keys (no relation), The Lumineers, Carrie Underwood, Mumford and Sons, a duet featuring 21-year-old nominee Ed Sheeran and Elton John (hope that EJ doesn't drool), and one I'm really looking forward to: Bruno Mars teaming up with Sting and Rhianna with a tribute to Bob Marley.  Members of his family are expected to join the grouping.  It may turn out to be the highlight of the night, unless one of the rockers drops a top or trou to show the world what they think of CBS's executives.  LL Cool J is the host and Taylor Swift opens the Grammys at 8 Sun. night.  Let the music flow....
