A perfect wknd. is here!  Even the Bills got in the spirit with a preseason win at home Fri. night under the stars in Orchard Park.  Raise a toast to the Bills start at 2-0 giving us die hard fans hope in sun.

Other stuff this wknd. to take in:

>> Discover the Dinosaurs at the Riverside Convention Center.  Details on my prior post here.

>> The Ukranian Festival takes over St. Josaphats at E. Ridge and Carter St. in Irondequoit all wknd.  Try a parogi for dinner tonight.

>> Beers & Gears cruises into the Genny plant on St. Paul St. Sat. from 11a-3p.  Classic cars, live music, chow and lots of Genny brews.

>> I'll be emcee of the Ontario Co. ARC's Cruisin' for a Cause Sat. night at Steamboat Landing on Lakeshore Dr. on Canandaigua Lake.  Cruise aboard the Canandaigua Lady, dance to live music, spend a few $$$ on really cool auction items (like a Caribbean cruise to St. Thomas, Aruba or Grand Cayman) to help the ARC's mission to help many in Ont. Co.  The fun starts after 6p.

>> Re-live the glory days of the 19th Ward in the city Sat. at the Clarissa St. Reunion.

>> Just down the street, take in a game at Frontier Field as the first place Red Wings play home Sat. night and Sun. aft.  Fireworks add to the first place excitment after the game Sat. night.  Play ball!

>> Dog Days of summer are here!  Join me at Silk O'Laughlins on St. Paul in Summerville Sun. after 3p for "Dog Day Afternoon", a fundraiser to benefit abused and neglected pooches.  You can even adopt one of the furry friends struttin' their stuff in the parking lot next to the river on the North Coast.  Trust me, it's tough to say no to these lovable characters.  And I'm not talking about some of the dudes hanging at Olies.  It will be a perfect way to enjoy a perfect summer day in Summerville!
