One amazing thing about dogs is how they will put themselves in harms way to help their humans.
A Doberman likely saved 17-month-old Charlotte when he grabbed her and threw her from the path of a poisonous snake. The toddler was playing in her family's garden when her dog, Khan, began acting aggressively and attempting to push her. When she didn't move, he grabbed her by the diaper and threw her to the side.
Charlotte's mother was blown away.
"Khan was really concentrating and was acting aggressive towards Charlotte and kept trying to nudge her but it wasn't working, so he grabbed her by the back of the nappy and threw her more than a meter."
At first, the mom was concerned as to why her dog was attacking the child. Then she saw the snake. Khan immediately put himself in between the snake and Charlotte. he was even bitten by the snake in the ordeal. Thankfully, he was administered an anti-venom shot in time, and survived the bite.
Want me to make this story even more unbelievable? Khan had only been with the family for four days at the time of the attack. The family had just adopted him after he was abandoned by a previous owner.
"We owe him for the rest of his life."
