Fans of Mumford & Sons didn't have to wait long to find out when the band would be making up for their recently canceled tour stops. The British folk-rockers were forced to nix a series of dates earlier this month after bassist Ted Dwane underwent emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from the surface of his brain.
But on Monday, the Mumford's unveiled four September shows that will make good for skipped gigs in Louisiana, Texas, and Kansas. The dates come at the end of the group's newly announced Full English Tour, which - despite its name - will take place completely in North America. The outing starts August 26th in Toronto.
Meanwhile, the band says they are also pleased to report that Dwane is making a steady recovery and "wearing his newly acquired shaven-headed hairstyle with enviable levels of suave." They add that all the support he's received from fans has left him "rather overwhelmed."
