Three Still Guarded After Wheatland Crash

Wheatland N.Y.- Grief counselors will be on hand today in the Caledonia Mumford School District as reaction continues  to pour in to  a crash Tuesday that claimed the lives of two former students and left three others seriously injured.

The five young people were in a jeep returning home from working with children with special needs at a camp in Batavia.

They collided with a tractor trailer at the corner of North Road and Riga Mumford Road. The driver of the jeep and her front-seat passenger were killed.

They've been identified as 21-year old Taylor Binnert and 20-year-old Christopher Peterson.

Christopher's sister , 17-year-old Emily Peterson, 17-year-old Michela Murphy and 21-year-old and Joanne Krutchen were all taken to Strong Hosptial.

At last word all three remained in guarded condition.
