Rochester Police Identify Man Shot On City's North Side

Rochester, N.Y. – Rochester Police have identified the man shot and killed outside of 19 Boston Street on the City’s North Side. 20-year-old Tahje Orange died shortly after three this morning.

Two other 21-year-old men were also injured in the shooting.

Just before midnight on Friday, officers responded for the report of a person shot. When Police arrive they located Orange and a second victim shot in their torso’s. They were both transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Shortly after midnight police were notified of a third victim that traveled by private car to Rochester General.   

Investigators say that the victims were with a group when someone began to shoot at them.

Police are searching for suspects and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
