(13WHAM) Rochester N.Y.-Monroe County Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn argues his case for a hefty pay bump.
@If the sheriff gets what he wants, he will get a $50,000 raise over two years.
He is asking the Monroe County Legislature to tie his salary to the district attorney's, which will jump to $174,000 in April.
Thursday night, O'Flynn went before the Ways and Means Committee to defend his request. His argument ? "We have equal responsibility for public safety and should receive equal compensation,"
