SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) _ Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand will be traveling across upstate New York to promote a plan to clean up contaminated commercial sites.

Gillibrand will make appearances on Monday in Albany, Syracuse, Rochester and Cheektowaga near Buffalo to highlight bipartisan legislation designed to make it easier to clean up and rebuild on brownfield sites.

The legislation would provide more resources for sites in need of redevelopment.
